Tuesday Book List

by JM

question.jpgYes, I’m changing the name to the Tuesday Book List. Why? Unlike last week’s list, at the end of today’s list I am now adding on the books I have read but have yet to review. I think that will give readers here an idea of the reviews they can look forward to on the coming Fridays here at The Book Stacks.

Here goes. (And feel free to link to your reading list in the comments.)

Reading:

Turtle Feet, Surfer’s Beat – Marina Kuperman
Only Moments – Nick Oliva
Bird by Bird – Anne Lamott
- I’m reading this for the book discussions over at Fiction Scribe. Feel free to drop in on the discussion anytime.
The Rough Guide to Blogging – Jonathan Yang - I’m not new to the world of blogging by any means, but this doesn’t mean I haven’t missed something or don’t need to go back and review the basics.
On Writing – Stephen King - I started this ages ago and really need to kick up reading it.

Going to Read:

Sabriel – Garth Nix
Ender’s Game – Orson Scott Card
If I Were You – Julia Llewellyn
Dragon Crosse – Kimberley Thoma
s - This is from an author at Conflux I talked to. She’s a fun lady, and I’m excited to check out her book.
Firebirds – Fantasy/Sci-fi Anthology – Edited by Sharyn November
In Bad Dreams – Horror Anthology – Edited by Mark Deniz and Sharyn Lilley - This is the first book out from Eneit Press. I met both Mark and Sharyn at Conflux and am excited to read this anthology. I might even be able to get an interview from them.
Circle of Flight – The Ellie Chronicles – John Marsden
The Lab – Jack Heath
Remote Control – Jack Heath

To Review:

The Truth – Dr. Barbara Becker Holstein
The Dowry Bride – Shobahn Bantwal

So what’s on your list?
