Tuesday Book List

by JM

oldbookstack.jpgYes, the stack just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Eek! I’ve added yet another category to the book list. Just to make everything easier by making it more complicated. Ha! (Did you know that computers were supposed to simplify our lives and now we have more paperwork than we have ever had? Figures.)

The new category is just so books don’t float off into the nameless space once I’ve finished the review but before the review is posted. In my never-ending show of genius, I’ve decided to name this category: Upcoming Reviews.

I know. Genius.

And here is the list! Complete with even more books I need to read and books I’ve now finished that need to be reviewed. (Feel free to link to your own lists in the comments.)

Reading:
Circle of Flight – The Ellie Chronicles – John Marsden
Only Moments – Nick Oliva
Bird by Bird – Anne Lamott - I’m reading this for the book discussions over at Fiction Scribe. Feel free to drop in on the discussion anytime.
The Rough Guide to Blogging – Jonathan Yang - I’m not new to the world of blogging by any means, but this doesn’t mean I haven’t missed something or don’t need to go back and review the basics.
On Writing – Stephen King

Going to Read:
Sabriel – Garth Nix
Ender’s Game – Orson Scott Card
If I Were You – Julia Llewellyn
Dragon Crosse – Kimberley Thomas
Firebirds – Fantasy/Sci-fi Anthology – Edited by Sharyn November
In Bad Dreams – Horror Anthology – Edited by Mark Deniz and Sharyn Lilley
The Lab – Jack Heath
Remote Control – Jack Heath
The Foreshadowing – Marcus Sedgwick

To Review:
The Dowry Bride – Shobahn Bantwal
Turtle Feet, Surfer’s Beat – Marina Kuperman

Upcoming Reviews:
The Truth – Dr. Barbara Becker Holstein

So what’s on your list?
