Great list! Ringworld, Dune, and the Foundation Series are all books I have in the pile to read asap. Really looking forward to them.

When reading Ringworld, take the time to try to envisage the place. It’s worth the effort & will help you appreciate what the characters go through trying to adjust.
then, once you get your head around Ringworld, read The Integral trees - it’s Ringworld without the ring!!! *grins*
The Heinlein books were the 1st SciFi I read - about age 6 & I haven’t stopped reading the genre since.
Eon, Eternity & Schild’s ladder are more books of huge concepts - if they weren’t so well written they’d be an impossible read. Eon was big enough that when Eternity came out I almost didn’t buy it - where could he possibly go with it after the incredible scenarios presented in Eon. But he achieves an even grander scope in the second.
I could go on about them all, & I have shelves full of the best scifi I’ve read (I only kept the ones that stood out for me in some way)
Thanks for the comment.
