The Tuesday List On The Moon

Welcome to this week’s Tuesday List. Can you imagine actually walking on the moon? Personally, I want to go to Mars. How many of you think that commercial space travel will be possible in our life times? I certainly hope so, but I doubt that it will be government run at the rate they’re going.
Reminders: The next Cover to Cover book is The Black Dudley Murder by Margery Allingham, so please join me for a discussion of the book on Friday, September 7, 2007. If you have suggestions for books that you would like to see discussed in a future Cover to Cover, feel free to comment any time with your titles.
The Monday Game (a.k.a. A Book By Any Other Name) has begun anew. The goal is 53, and the forfeit is now a poem. Stop by and check it out!
Have you been reading anything interesting lately? Please comment and let me know. And now, my current list:
The Black Dudley Murder by Margery Allingham - This is the book for the next Cover to Cover. Please join us!
Bird by Bird by Ann Lamott - I’m reading along at Fiction Scribe…and I’m actually keeping up.
Doctor Who: Creatures and Demons by Justin Richards - I’m on page 56. I love these books.
The Seven Storey Mountain by Thomas Merton - I need to spend more time reading this one.
Mental_Floss (Sept./Oct. ‘07) - I love this magazine. I’m on page 13.
Oh, hey! I would like to remind you all that The Book Stacks is up for a Blogger’s Choice Award, so if you would be so kind as to pop along and vote for me, I’d be much obliged.

I just ordered, and am greatly looking forward to “Scaredy Squirrel makes a friend” by Melanie Watt. Also, in the picture book world, I discovered and fell in like with Nick Bruel, especially his books “Bad Kitty” and the most recent “Poor Puppy”.
By the way, Elisa, “The Adventures of Cow, Too” by Cow (as told to Lisa Korchek), the Scaredy Squirrel books, and “Bad Kitty” are all available at your library or through your library system.

I miss you, Dan. I’ll be sure to check these books out…literally.
