Reading Spots 4

Welcome to the fourth installment of Favorite Reading Spots. Just like last time, none of the respondents this time around sent me images to go with their favorite reading spots, so you can enjoy the picture of my reading spot (complete with ghost pillow) while you read about theirs. If you would like to tell me about your Favorite Reading Spot, feel free to email me or comment here. I should point out that I actually have 2 ghost pillows, but the other is actually a Peep ghost and was off haunting some other furniture at the time of this photo.
Deanna from Tot Tv Watch says that her bed is her favorite Reading Spot. “I generally only read in bed, so I suppose that would be my favorite spot. It is about the only place quiet enough in my house to focus on what I’m reading.” (I love reading in bed, too, Deanna. Doing so as an adult sure beats reading under the covers with a flashlight like I…never did as a kid. Just so you know, Mom, ’cause I know you’re reading this.)
Heather from http://www.about-lasvegasnv.com/ also enjoys reading in bed. “I usually only read in bed too, it’s the only time of day that I get a minute to myself!” (It’s starting to look like “in bed” may be the most popular reading spot of all. My main problem with reading in bed is: if the book is boring, I fall asleep. If the book is exciting, I may look up and discover that it is 3am.)
Commenting from lovely Kauai, Debbie says that her favorite Reading Spot is in the bathtub. (That sounds nice and relaxing, Debbie. I used to write in the bathtub. It’s hard to read and write in the shower. Maybe I should switch back to baths.)
Well, that’s it for this edition of Reading Spots. Keep those submissions coming!

I’m terrified by the thought of reading in the bath - what happens if I drop the book?

Gillian, that may be why I don’t read in the bath any more. I’m afraid to get a book wet.
Well, Wonder, I see if I can catch it the next time it flits by.

I wonder if publishers could be persuaded to make waterproof fantasy novels? There are waterproof books for toddlers, after all.
