Mr. Jackson has quite a track record of, shall we say, “interesting” cinema, you know…

This could be a fantastic movie if done right. I’m not looking forward to the beginning with what he does to her… but I’d definitely watch the movie.
What does your heaven smell like.

Judging by his track record, I’ll bet that the movie contains multiple facets and incredible cinematography.

I happened to receive a review copy of The Lovely Bones three months before it came out and I LOVED the book. Unfortunately, the movie rights were sold at the same time. It’s been too many years for me to really get my hopes up.

Don’t worry Tracy. I’m sure they will have intriguing trailers to entice you.

I just read The Lovely Bones and really enjoyed it. The views on heaven helped me through two deaths that I just endured. Knowing that people who pass away are up in heaven watching you and that some day you will see them again. Some people may not have these same views, but I know that before at times I was uncertain on what happens when someone passes away, but now I have a better thought process on death. The beginning of the book was a little gruesome, but it helped bring detail to the plot. I thought that the closeness of the dad and lindsey along with Buckley was nice. They could all feel Susies presence, while their mother (Abigail) is growing further away from her family after the death. I thought that Mr. Harveys character was a good addition to the events that happened in the book. There were some suspenseful times that really kept me wanting to read more. Overall The Lovely Bones was a very well written novel.
