My Reading List

by

question.jpgYes, like Elisa, I also have a stack of books I’m reading (and ones I will be reading soon). Some are from Conflux, some of them are from virtual book tour authors, and others are for my reading pleasure. Either way, they’ll all be reviewed. (Eventually.)

So here are the books on my reading list; what books are on yours?

These are the ones I’ve actually started reading:

The Dowry Bride – Shobahn Bantwal - I’m enjoying this book a lot and am looking forward to reviewing it here.
Turtle Feet, Surfer’s Beat – Marina Kuperman
Only Moments – Nick Oliva
Bird by Bird – Anne Lamott - I’m reading this for the book discussions over at Fiction Scribe. Feel free to drop in on the discussion anytime.
The Rough Guide to Blogging – Jonathan Yang - I’m not new to the world of blogging by any means, but this doesn’t mean I haven’t missed something or don’t need to go back and review the basics.
On Writing – Stephen King - I started this ages ago and really need to kick up the writing.

These are the ones I need to start:

Sabriel – Garth Nix
Ender’s Game – Orson Scott Card
If I Were You – Julia Llewellyn
Dragon Crosse – Kimberley Thomas - This is from an author at Conflux I talked to. She’s a fun lady, and I’m excited to check out her book.
Firebirds – Fantasy/Sci-fi Anthology – Edited by Sharyn November
In Bad Dreams – Horror Anthology – Edited by Mark Deniz and Sharyn Lilley - This is the first book out from Eneit Press. I met both Mark and Sharyn at Conflux and am excited to read this anthology. I might even be able to get an interview from them.
Circle of Flight – The Ellie Chronicles – John Marsden

So what’s on your list?

  1. Elisa Says:

Yes, you *do* need to read Sabriel and Ender’s Game.

  2. JM Says:

I got the second one at Conflux (and couldn’t find Garth Nix so he could sign it *pout*) and need to get the first one because I still can’t find it at the library.

  3. Elisa Says:

If you can find Sabriel on audiobook…Tim Curry reads it. I bought my copy from Audible.

  4. JM Says:

Audible rings bells for some reason… Hm. At least I don’t need to buy it right this second. I could hint at it for a Christmas present, couldn’t I, lady Tardis? :D
