Read Aloud to Break a Record
Friday, November 17th, 2006
The folks over at Walden Media want your help. They are attempting to break the world record for “Most People Reading Aloud Simultaneously In Multiple Locations.” On 13 December 2006 at noon (EST) they would like you to join them in reading a passage of E. B. White’s Charlotte’s Web aloud. Yes, this is the same Walden Media that is bringing out the Charlotte’s Web film on 20 December 2006. So, this is obviously a publicity stunt, but at least it’s an interesting one. If you would like to join in, go to the Break a World Record with Charlotte’s Web site and sign up. My boss is really into this kind of thing, I’ll have to see if she is interested. 12 (EST) would be 9 (PST). Hmmmm….
