  1. Dan Says:

One of my favorite books, The Tale of Despereaux, will be released as an animated film on December 19, 2008. Its voice talent includes Dustin Hoffman, Sigourney Weaver, William H. Macy, Christopher Lloyd, Kevin Kline and Tracey Ullman. No voice for Despereaux yet. Kate Dicamillo (Because of Winn-Dixie)wrote the book.

  2. Dan Says:

Inkheart, by Cornelia Funke, will be released 3/19/08. It has Brendan Fraser, Andy Serkis, Paul Bettany, Helen Mirren and Jim Broadbent, among others.

  3. Dan Says:

One more for today. For fans of Harlan Coben and his Myron Bolitar series, Deal Breaker will be released sometime in 2008. IMDB has no word on any cast yet.

    I’m reporting these on Wednesday.
