A Book By Any Other Name…Sun

by JM

Hello everyone! This is actually JM posting. (I’ll change the author stamp later.) We’re going through some technical difficulties at the moment, so…

Many of you probably know me from Fiction Scribe, but for those of you who don’t, I’m also the writer at Write Anyway and YouTube Digger. The lovely Elisa asked if I would like to take over this site, and I was happy to do so. I hope to keep the level of quality Elisa had here and add a bit of my own flavour.

In case you were wondering, I will keep the “A Book by Any Other Name game going, as I enjoy it a lot and hope you do, too. Before we get into that, though, I want to thank Elisa for the lovely job she has done at this blog and for trusting me with its care.

On to the games…

The game will work the same: Each week I will choose a word and offer a few titles that I’ve come up with containing that word in the title. Then it’s your turn to come up with book titles containing the same word, without duplication (yes, that includes my titles.) I would also like the author, but that is just so I can find the book if I want to read it.

About this current challenge: I challenge all of you to reach 25 titles containing the weekly word by this time Friday (I use that term loosely this week because Elisa and I are in quite different time zones), (with no more than 5 titles commented per person and not including my titles in the total.)

My forfeit? I think for this first challenge, I’ll offer up one of my favourite poems that I’ve written: “Coffee Shop Poet Wannabe If you can get to goal number of titles, I’ll post up the poem on Saturday. If you don’t reach the goal, we’ll try again next week. If you reach the goal, I’ll have a brand new challenge for you next Monday along with a new forfeit (I’ll think of something really good).

(If you’re feeling pouty about the five titles per person limit, why not get a friend to come and comment as well? The more, the merrier.)

Today’s Word is:
