Not much of a mystery fan, which is your favourite out of the 13, and I think I will get it from the library. Always like a new challenge!

  2. Elisa Says:

Alisa Craig and Charlotte Macleod are the same person. She stand alone as the only mystery writer whose series I have made it all of the way through. I have read *everything* by her that I could get my hands on. The four by her that I have listed above are each the first of a series. See if one of them strikes your fancy. (They are quite mellow on the whole. Death tends to happen offstage.)

  3. jennifer Says:

I love mysteries and these are some that I have not read. I am going to though.

    thank you.

    My 13 is up

Thanks for the tip on the writers, will check the library website in a minute.

Chicken curry recipe is here: http://www.asda-recipes.co.uk/recipe/154.html

I got it from the Asda (walmart) magazine sometime last year and we have it maybe once or twice a month.

I will hopefully add them all to my blog in the next few days :-)

  5. Denise Patrick Says:

Great list! I haven’t read any of them, but I love mysteries.

    Happy TT!

  6. Mama Pajama Says:

I’ll have to check some of these out. I’m feeling dumb b/c I haven’t heard of most of these!

  7. Vixen Says:

Thanks for stopping by, but especially for this list. I love mysteries and was going to the libraray tonight! Perfect timing.

  8. Nicholas Says:

I don’t know any of those, though I do have another Sayers mystery on order from Amazon.

  9. Thomma Lyn Says:

Thanks for the recommendations! I haven’t read any of these, though I have heard that Dorothy Sayers is quite good.

Happy TT, and thanks for visiting mine! :)

  10. Dan Says:

I have read and enjoyed everything by Robert Barnard (usually set in England, modern day). I also like Harlan Coben (funny!). There’s a bit of bad language and violence in Coben’s work, though. But he’s funny.

  11. Susan Helene Gottfried Says:

I don’t think I’ve read a single one of these! I’ve at least read a couple in the Aunt Dimity series and liked them… does that count?

I’m off to update my wishlist. Thanks for the suggestions!

  12. Elisa Says:

Bubblegum109 - thanks for the recipe!

jennifer & Denise - I hope that you enjoy them.

Mama Pajama - Don’t feel dumb, just check them out. :)

Vixen - glad that the timing worked out for you!

Nicholas - Whose Body? is the first Lord Peter book.

  13. Elisa Says:

Thomma Lyn - I hope that you find a good mystery to enjoy.

Hi Dan!! - I’ll have to check those authors out.

Susan - Aunt Dimity’s Death is the first of the series.

  14. Tink Says:

Great list of tips, I love mysteries!
Thanks for visiting my Robbie TT.

  15. Joanne Says:

I’ve never read any of these. Actually, thinking about it, I’ve never really read many mystery novels with the exception of the Mary Higgins Clark kick I had back in high school. But her books are really similar to each other. Happy 13! Thanks for checking out my 13 works of art.

  16. Elisa Says:

Tink - I hope that you find a mystery that you love on the list.

Joanne - Give one a try. You know you want to. *attempts to hypnotize you*
